Investing.com – Sweden equities were lower at the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Technology, Healthcare and Industrials sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 lost 0.22%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Securitas AB ser. B (ST:SECUb), which rose 0.90% or 1.20 points to trade at 135.10 at the close. Essity AB B (ST:ESSITYb) added 0.86% or 2.00 points to end at 233.50 and Swedish Match AB (ST:SWMA) was up 0.75% or 2.2 points to 294.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Fingerprint Cards AB ser. B (ST:FINGb), which lost 3.54% or 0.82 points to trade at 22.33 in late trade. Telefonaktiebolaget LM Ericsson Class B (ST:ERICb) declined 2.06% or 0.99 points to end at 47.01 and AB SKF B (ST:SKFb) shed 1.37% or 2.4 points to 172.7.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 403 to 310 and 97 ended unchanged on the Stockholm Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for November delivery was up 2.68% or 1.33 to $50.91 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in December rose 1.79% or 1.00 to hit $56.79 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.64% or 8.27 to trade at $1293.27 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was down 0.06% to 9.5344, while USD/SEK fell 0.56% to 8.0803.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.50% at 93.08.
