Investing.com – Sweden equities were lower at the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Financials, Healthcare and Consumer Goods sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 declined 0.15%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were SSAB AB ser. A (ST:SSABa), which rose 1.72% or 0.82 points to trade at 48.48 at the close. Autoliv Inc . SDB (ST:ALIVsdb) added 1.56% or 19.0 points to end at 1239.5 and Boliden AB (ST:BOL) was up 1.35% or 3.90 points to 292.20 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Fingerprint Cards AB ser. B (ST:FINGb), which lost 7.09% or 0.63 points to trade at 8.30 in late trade. Getinge AB ser. B (ST:GETIb) declined 6.95% or 7.2 points to end at 96.7 and Svenska Handelsbanken AB A (ST:SHBa) shed 1.07% or 1.2 points to 110.6.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 334 to 266 and 60 ended unchanged on the Stockholm Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for May delivery was up 2.30% or 1.46 to $65.00 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in May rose 2.48% or 1.67 to hit $69.09 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 0.94% or 12.30 to trade at $1324.20 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was up 0.29% to 10.0930, while USD/SEK rose 0.08% to 8.2291.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.27% at 89.77.
