Investing.com – Sweden equities were lower at the close on Monday, as losses in the Oil & Gas, Healthcare and Industrials sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 lost 0.14%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were SSAB AB ser. A (ST:SSABa), which rose 3.51% or 1.71 points to trade at 50.42 at the close. Telia Company AB (ST:TELIA) added 2.36% or 0.91 points to end at 39.44 and Fingerprint Cards AB ser. B (ST:FINGb) was up 2.09% or 0.27 points to 13.27 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Getinge AB ser. B (ST:GETIb), which lost 10.46% or 12.1 points to trade at 104.0 in late trade. Alfa Laval AB (ST:ALFA) declined 2.57% or 5.3 points to end at 200.8 and AB SKF B (ST:SKFb) shed 1.89% or 3.8 points to 194.8.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 349 to 278 and 36 ended unchanged on the Stockholm Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for March delivery was down 1.13% or 0.75 to $65.39 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in April fell 1.54% or 1.08 to hit $69.07 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract fell 1.01% or 13.70 to trade at $1338.40 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was down 0.13% to 9.7715, while USD/SEK rose 0.56% to 7.9120.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.56% at 89.37.
