Investing.com – Sweden equities were higher at the close on Thursday, as gains in the Consumer Goods, Technology and Healthcare sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 gained 0.27%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Electrolux, AB ser. B (ST:ELUXb), which rose 4.42% or 11.6 points to trade at 274.0 at the close. Autoliv Inc . SDB (ST:ALIVsdb) added 2.14% or 19.0 points to end at 905.0 and Kinnevik, Investment AB ser. B (BS:KINVBs) was up 1.71% or 4.1 points to 243.3 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Fingerprint Cards AB ser. B (ST:FINGb), which lost 6.36% or 2.10 points to trade at 30.90 in late trade. Boliden AB (ST:BOL) declined 2.54% or 6.20 points to end at 237.80 and Securitas AB ser. B (ST:SECUb) shed 2.34% or 3.30 points to 137.50.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 379 to 337 and 66 ended unchanged on the Stockholm Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for June delivery was down 4.16% or 1.99 to $45.83 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in July fell 3.98% or 2.02 to hit $48.77 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract fell 1.46% or 18.19 to trade at $1230.31 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was up 0.44% to 9.6769, while USD/SEK fell 0.35% to 8.8197.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.55% at 98.71.
