Investing.com – Sweden equities were higher at the close on Monday, as gains in the Healthcare, Industrials and Telecoms sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 gained 1.52%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Autoliv Inc . SDB (ST:ALIVsdb), which rose 9.06% or 65.8 points to trade at 792.0 at the close. Electrolux, AB ser. B (ST:ELUXb) added 6.27% or 10.8 points to end at 183.0 and Getinge AB ser. B (ST:GETIb) was up 3.97% or 3.4 points to 88.6 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Essity AB B (ST:ESSITYb), which lost 3.96% or 8.50 points to trade at 205.90 in late trade. Kinnevik, Investment AB ser. B (ST:KINVb) declined 1.30% or 3.2 points to end at 242.7 and Skandinaviska Enskilda Banken AB A (ST:SEBa) gained 0.32% or 0.30 points to 93.08.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 469 to 184 and 33 ended unchanged on the Stockholm Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for December delivery was down 0.47% or 0.32 to $67.27 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in January fell 0.08% or 0.06 to hit $77.56 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract unchanged 0.00% or 0.00 to trade at $1232.50 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was down 0.14% to 10.3989, while USD/SEK fell 0.07% to 9.1265.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.21% at 96.33.
