Investing.com – Sweden equities were higher at the close on Thursday, as gains in the Technology, Healthcare and Industrials sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 added 1.36%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Getinge AB ser. B (ST:GETIb), which rose 6.20% or 6.3 points to trade at 108.8 at the close. Skanska AB ser. B (ST:SKAb) added 3.13% or 5.10 points to end at 167.95 and Atlas Copco AB ser. A (ST:ATCOa) was up 2.48% or 8.5 points to 351.5 in late trade.
Biggest losers included SSAB AB ser. A (ST:SSABa), which lost 1.88% or 0.94 points to trade at 49.04 in late trade. Autoliv Inc . SDB (ST:ALIVsdb) declined 0.60% or 7.5 points to end at 1239.5 and Fingerprint Cards AB ser. B (ST:FINGb) shed 0.36% or 0.04 points to 9.96.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 385 to 215 and 56 ended unchanged on the Stockholm Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for April delivery was down 1.34% or 0.82 to $60.33 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in May fell 0.99% or 0.64 to hit $63.70 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 0.47% or 6.20 to trade at $1321.40 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was down 0.29% to 10.1837, while USD/SEK rose 0.46% to 8.2671.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.58% at 90.08.
