Investing.com – Sweden equities were higher at the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Technology, Financials and Oil & Gas sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 gained 0.42% to hit a new 1-month high.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Autoliv Inc . SDB (ST:ALIVsdb), which rose 1.70% or 17.0 points to trade at 1019.0 at the close. Telefonaktiebolaget LM Ericsson Class B (ST:ERICb) added 1.62% or 0.74 points to end at 46.49 and ASSA ABLOY AB ser. B (ST:ASSAb) was up 1.11% or 2.0 points to 182.2 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Fingerprint Cards AB ser. B (ST:FINGb), which lost 1.25% or 0.29 points to trade at 22.85 in late trade. SSAB AB ser. A (ST:SSABa) declined 1.16% or 0.44 points to end at 37.57 and Getinge AB ser. B (ST:GETIb) shed 0.86% or 1.3 points to 150.0.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 376 to 340 and 101 ended unchanged on the Stockholm Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for November delivery was down 0.46% or 0.24 to $51.98 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in December fell 0.91% or 0.53 to hit $57.90 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.60% or 7.82 to trade at $1303.68 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was up 0.66% to 9.5925, while USD/SEK rose 1.32% to 8.1495.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.58% at 92.98.
