Investing.com – Sweden equities were higher at the close on Friday, as gains in the Technology, Oil & Gas and Healthcare sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 gained 0.28% to hit a new 1-month high.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Fingerprint Cards AB ser. B (ST:FINGb), which rose 4.33% or 0.99 points to trade at 23.88 at the close. AstraZeneca PLC (ST:AZN) added 2.20% or 11.5 points to end at 534.0 and Telefonaktiebolaget LM Ericsson Class B (ST:ERICb) was up 1.75% or 0.78 points to 45.27 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Boliden AB (ST:BOL), which lost 1.25% or 3.40 points to trade at 269.60 in late trade. SSAB AB ser. A (ST:SSABa) declined 1.03% or 0.40 points to end at 38.56 and Getinge AB ser. B (ST:GETIb) shed 0.98% or 1.5 points to 152.0.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 387 to 329 and 92 ended unchanged on the Stockholm Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for November delivery was down 0.06% or 0.03 to $50.52 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in November rose 0.35% or 0.20 to hit $56.63 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.38% or 4.92 to trade at $1299.72 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was up 0.06% to 9.5238, while USD/SEK fell 0.17% to 7.9599.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.14% at 91.84.
