Investing.com – Sweden equities were higher at the close on Monday, as gains in the Oil & Gas, Industrials and Financials sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 rose 0.25%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Skanska AB ser. B (ST:SKAb), which rose 1.46% or 2.60 points to trade at 180.40 at the close. Alfa Laval AB (ST:ALFA) added 1.42% or 2.7 points to end at 192.3 and Atlas Copco AB ser. B (ST:ATCOb) was up 1.35% or 4.0 points to 300.7 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Fingerprint Cards AB ser. B (ST:FINGb), which lost 22.14% or 7.42 points to trade at 26.10 in late trade. Autoliv Inc . SDB (ST:ALIVsdb) declined 2.40% or 24.0 points to end at 974.5 and Telia Company AB (ST:TELIA) shed 1.75% or 0.67 points to 37.65.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 366 to 357 and 88 ended unchanged on the Stockholm Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for November delivery was down 0.85% or 0.43 to $50.01 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in November fell 0.77% or 0.43 to hit $55.19 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 1.00% or 13.22 to trade at $1311.98 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was up 0.01% to 9.5163, while USD/SEK rose 0.14% to 7.9771.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.27% at 91.90.
