Investing.com – Sweden equities were higher at the close on Friday, as gains in the Telecoms, Oil & Gas and Financials sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 rose 0.16% to hit a new 1-month high.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Securitas AB ser. B (ST:SECUb), which rose 8.07% or 11.70 points to trade at 156.75 at the close. Telia Company AB (ST:TELIA) added 1.81% or 0.75 points to end at 42.24 and SSAB AB ser. A (ST:SSABa) was up 1.15% or 0.49 points to 43.27 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Autoliv Inc . SDB (ST:ALIVsdb), which lost 2.12% or 19.2 points to trade at 886.0 in late trade. Telefonaktiebolaget LM Ericsson Class B (ST:ERICb) declined 1.67% or 1.20 points to end at 70.66 and Svenska Cellulosa SCA AB B (ST:SCAb) shed 0.75% or 0.7 points to 92.6.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 350 to 254 and 60 ended unchanged on the Stockholm Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for September delivery was down 0.40% or 0.28 to $69.33 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in September rose 0.17% or 0.13 to hit $74.67 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract unchanged 0.00% or 0.00 to trade at $1225.70 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was up 0.50% to 10.3086, while USD/SEK rose 0.39% to 8.8451.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.11% at 94.47.
