In a move to bolster its battery metals position Stelar Metals Ltd (ASX:SLB) has appointed RK Equity Advisors as its strategic advisor primarily with the aim of advancing its recently acquired Trident Lithium Project near Broken Hill in New South Wales.

The New York-based proprietary research and capital markets advisory firm will provide non-exclusive strategic guidance for an initial term of 12 months.

RK Equity is a leading proprietary research and capital markets advisory firm focused on the lithium-ion battery materials supply chain.

It supports a range of global clients predominantly in the lithium space, which includes producing and developing resource issuers, institutional hedge funds, mutual funds, private equity and selected individual investors.

The company's board considers the appointment of RK Equity will greatly assist SLB as it looks to advance the Trident Lithium Project.
