Star Minerals Ltd (ASX:SMS) has further aligned the location of its board with its Western Australian focus through the appointment of experienced geologist Gemma Lee as an independent non-executive director.
Lee brings to the board 20 years of experience in the mining industry in Western Australia, with extensive experience in resource development exploration at advanced exploration sites and working open pit and underground mines.
This change and WA focus see the replacement of Stephen Strubel as an independent non-executive director with the company thanking him for his efforts.
Strubel was instrumental in the formation and promotion of Star through to its successful IPO and admission to the official list of the ASX.
