Silver Mines Ltd has bolstered its operational and technical capabilities though the appointment of mining engineer Rob Dennis as a non-executive director of the company effective July 1, 2024.

With almost 50 years of experience in the nickel, copper, gold and alumina industries, this appointment is expected to assist the company greatly as it develops the Bowdens Silver Project near Mudgee in Central West New South Wales.

Past experience

“Wealth of knowledge”

Silver Mines chairman Keith Perrett said, “On behalf of the company, I am pleased to welcome Rob Dennis to our board. With over 45 years of extensive experience in the mining industry, Rob brings a wealth of knowledge and leadership to our team.

"His impressive track record in managing and developing gold and base metal projects, along with his executive roles at Poseidon Nickel, Independence Group and Adita Birla Minerals, will be invaluable as we continue to advance our operations and transition into mine construction and development.

"We are very fortunate to secure Rob’s services as a non-executive director and I am confident that his expertise and dedication will significantly contribute to the growth and success of Silver Mines Ltd.”
