Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Insurance, Cement and Industrial Investment sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share lost 3.03% to hit a new 1-month low.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Saudi Research and Marketing Group (SE:4210), which rose 9.83% or 1.70 points to trade at 19.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Saudi Printing & Packaging Company (SE:4270) added 9.27% or 1.45 points to end at 17.10 and Tihama Advertising&Public Relations (SE:4070) was up 2.50% or 0.80 points to 32.80 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Knowledge Economic City (SE:4310), which fell 10.00% or 1.60 points to trade at 14.40 at the close. Malath Cooperative Insurance Co (SE:8020) declined 9.44% or 2.20 points to end at 21.10 and Saudi Indian Company Insurance (SE:8110) was down 8.87% or 1.30 points to 13.35.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 158 to 8.
Crude oil for December delivery was down 2.73% or 1.20 to $42.78 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December fell 1.82% or 0.86 to hit $46.67 a barrel, while the December Gold contract fell 0.32% or 3.70 to trade at $1162.50 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.05% to 4.1492, while USD/SAR fell 0.02% to 3.7498.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.09% at 96.83.
