Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Media & Publishing, Hotels & Tourism and Agriculture & Food sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share declined 2.18%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Saudi Fisheries Co. (SE:6050), which rose 9.92% or 1.43 points to trade at 15.85 at the close. Meanwhile, Electrical Industries Co (SE:1303) added 6.03% or 2.23 points to end at 39.20 and Salama Cooperative Insurance Co (SE:8050) was up 3.98% or 0.50 points to 13.05 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were National Agriculture Marketing Co. (SE:4160), which fell 10.00% or 4.30 points to trade at 38.70 at the close. Trade Union Cooperative Insurance (SE:8170) declined 9.99% or 2.17 points to end at 19.55 and Tihama Advertising&Public Relations (SE:4070) was down 9.95% or 5.25 points to 47.50.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 130 to 36.
Shares in National Agriculture Marketing Co. (SE:4160) fell to 52-week lows; falling 10.00% or 4.30 to 38.70. Shares in Trade Union Cooperative Insurance (SE:8170) fell to 3-years lows; down 9.99% or 2.17 to 19.55. Shares in Tihama Advertising&Public Relations (SE:4070) fell to 3-years lows; losing 9.95% or 5.25 to 47.50.
Crude oil for October delivery was down 1.17% or 0.53 to $44.69 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in October fell 1.73% or 0.86 to hit $49.19 a barrel, while the December Gold contract fell 0.62% or 7.00 to trade at $1127.00 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.45% to 4.2133, while USD/SAR fell 0.00% to 3.7515.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.23% at 95.92.
