Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Media & Publishing, Transport and Insurance sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share fell 1.12%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were ALAHLI TAKAFUL COMPANY (SE:8130), which rose 3.96% or 1.83 points to trade at 48.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Electrical Industries Co (SE:1303) added 2.91% or 1.14 points to end at 40.30 and National Petrochemical Company (SE:2002) was up 2.46% or 0.49 points to 20.40 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Tihama Advertising&Public Relations (SE:4070), which fell 9.89% or 4.70 points to trade at 42.80 at the close. National Agriculture Marketing Co. (SE:4160) declined 9.82% or 3.80 points to end at 34.90 and Saudi Fisheries Co. (SE:6050) was down 5.99% or 0.95 points to 14.90.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 145 to 21.
Shares in Tihama Advertising&Public Relations (SE:4070) fell to 3-years lows; down 9.89% or 4.70 to 42.80. Shares in National Agriculture Marketing Co. (SE:4160) fell to 52-week lows; falling 9.82% or 3.80 to 34.90.
Crude oil for October delivery was down 7.91% or 3.89 to $45.31 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in October fell 8.73% or 4.72 to hit $49.42 a barrel, while the December Gold contract rose 0.64% or 7.20 to trade at $1139.70 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.75% to 4.2371, while USD/SAR rose 0.01% to 3.7506.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.53% at 95.44.
