Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Media & Publishing, Insurance and Petrochemicals sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share fell 0.95%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Saudi Fisheries Co. (SE:6050), which rose 8.45% or 1.27 points to trade at 16.30 at the close. Meanwhile, National Agriculture Marketing Co. (SE:4160) added 4.84% or 1.69 points to end at 36.60 and Trade Union Cooperative Insurance (SE:8170) was up 3.19% or 0.59 points to 19.10 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Tihama Advertising&Public Relations (SE:4070), which fell 9.81% or 4.20 points to trade at 38.60 at the close. Knowledge Economic City (SE:4310) declined 4.21% or 0.77 points to end at 17.50 and Saudi Hollandi Bank (SE:1040) was down 4.04% or 1.50 points to 35.60.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 132 to 34.
Shares in Tihama Advertising&Public Relations (SE:4070) fell to 3-years lows; down 9.81% or 4.20 to 38.60.
Crude oil for October delivery was up 0.48% or 0.22 to $45.63 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in October rose 0.96% or 0.47 to hit $50.03 a barrel, while the December Gold contract fell 0.21% or 2.40 to trade at $1137.40 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.66% to 4.2164, while USD/SAR fell 0.02% to 3.7504.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.43% at 95.80.
