Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Industrial Investment, Real Estate Development and Building & Construction sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share lost 0.35%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were National Petrochemical Company (SE:2002), which rose 9.53% or 2.05 points to trade at 23.55 at the close. Meanwhile, Saudi Indian Company Insurance (SE:8110) added 8.92% or 1.45 points to end at 17.70 and Arabian Shield Coop Insurance Co (SE:8070) was up 7.05% or 2.10 points to 31.90 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were National Industrialization Co (SE:2060), which fell 8.01% or 1.15 points to trade at 13.20 at the close. Abdullah A. M. Al-Khodari Sons Co (SE:1330) declined 7.94% or 1.70 points to end at 19.70 and ALABDULLATIF CO. (SE:2340) was down 4.83% or 1.70 points to 33.50.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 90 to 76.
Crude oil for December delivery was down 2.16% or 1.03 to $46.69 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December fell 2.49% or 1.25 to hit $49.20 a barrel, while the December Gold contract fell 0.62% or 7.30 to trade at $1175.80 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.16% to 4.2468, while USD/SAR rose 0.02% to 3.7486.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.15% at 94.90.
