Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Media & Publishing, Petrochemicals and Industrial Investment sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share gained 1.33%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Saudi Printing & Packaging Company (SE:4270), which rose 9.88% or 2.00 points to trade at 22.25 at the close. Meanwhile, Etihad Atheeb Telecommunication (SE:7040) added 8.70% or 0.50 points to end at 6.25 and Dur Hospitality (SE:4010) was up 7.60% or 1.90 points to 26.90 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Tabuk Agriculture Development Co. (SE:6040), which fell 3.87% or 0.60 points to trade at 14.90 at the close. Qassim Agriculture Co. (SE:6020) declined 2.33% or 0.35 points to end at 14.65 and National Agriculture Development Co (SE:6010) was down 1.83% or 0.60 points to 32.10.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 139 to 27.
Crude oil for December delivery was up 1.08% or 0.48 to $44.77 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January rose 1.38% or 0.67 to hit $48.84 a barrel, while the December Gold contract rose 0.41% or 4.50 to trade at $1092.20 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.29% to 4.0398, while USD/SAR rose 0.01% to 3.7496.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.27% at 99.02.
