Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Industrial Investment, Multi Investment and Media & Publishing sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share rose 1.14%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Etihad Atheeb Telecommunication (SE:7040), which rose 8.77% or 0.50 points to trade at 6.20 at the close. Meanwhile, Saudi Arabian Mining Company (SE:1211) added 7.80% or 2.30 points to end at 31.80 and Saudi Arabian Cooperative Insurance (SE:8100) was up 6.05% or 1.05 points to 18.40 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were AL-BABTAIN POWER &TELECOM CO (SE:2320), which fell 4.18% or 1.50 points to trade at 34.40 at the close. Al Sagr Co-operative Insurance Co (SE:8180) declined 2.05% or 0.60 points to end at 28.70 and Tabuk Agriculture Development Co. (SE:6040) was down 1.68% or 0.25 points to 14.60.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 140 to 26.
Crude oil for December delivery was up 1.66% or 0.68 to $41.41 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January rose 0.78% or 0.34 to hit $44.81 a barrel, while the December Gold contract rose 0.91% or 9.80 to trade at $1090.70 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.44% to 4.0240, while USD/SAR fell 0.03% to 3.7500.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.37% at 99.25.
