Investing.com – Saudi Arabia equities were lower at the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Energy & Utilities, Multi Investment and Real Estate Development sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share declined 1.17%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Al-Ahlia Insurance Company (SE:8140), which rose 6.36% or 0.55 points to trade at 9.20 at the close. Abdullah Al Othaim Markets Company (SE:4001) added 2.41% or 2.25 points to end at 95.75 and Etihad Atheeb Telecommunication (SE:7040) was up 2.35% or 0.10 points to 4.35 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Saudi Hollandi Bank (SE:1040), which lost 50.96% or 13.25 points to trade at 12.75 in late trade. Solidarity Saudi Takaful Co (SE:8290) declined 5.00% or 0.50 points to end at 9.50 and Al Hokair Group (SE:1820) shed 4.90% or 2.50 points to 48.50.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 140 to 20 and 8 ended unchanged on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for June delivery was down 0.56% or 0.25 to $44.53 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in July fell 0.13% or 0.06 to hit $45.77 a barrel, while the June Gold contract rose 0.17% or 2.20 to trade at $1298.00 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.21% to 4.3360, while USD/SAR fell 0.02% to 3.7504.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.12% at 92.42.
