Investing.com – Saudi Arabia equities were lower at the close on Sunday, as losses in the Financial Services, Insurance and Energy & Utilities sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share fell 1.69%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Saudi Research and Marketing Group (SE:4210), which rose 9.97% or 7.30 points to trade at 80.50 at the close. Saudi Printing & Packaging Company (SE:4270) added 4.41% or 0.64 points to end at 15.16 and Tihama Advertising&Public Relations (SE:4070) was up 3.99% or 1.60 points to 41.70 in late trade.
Biggest losers included ACE ARABIA COOPERATIVE INSURANCE (SE:8240), which lost 5.26% or 1.40 points to trade at 25.20 in late trade. Herfy Food Services Co (SE:6002) declined 5.25% or 3.10 points to end at 55.90 and Arriyadh Development Co. (SE:4150) shed 4.58% or 0.75 points to 15.64.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 161 to 25 and 5 ended unchanged on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for June delivery was up 0.08% or 0.05 to $61.86 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in July rose 0.11% or 0.08 to hit $70.83 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 0.65% or 8.30 to trade at $1280.30 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.27% to 4.2024, while USD/SAR rose 0.00% to 3.7503.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.40% at 97.197.
