Investing.com – Saudi Arabia equities were lower at the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Media & Publishing, Petrochemicals and Insurance sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share lost 1.29%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were United Int Transportation Company (SE:4260), which rose 2.74% or 0.93 points to trade at 34.90 at the close. Alujain Corporation (SE:2170) added 2.69% or 0.79 points to end at 30.20 and Fawaz Abdulaziz AlHokair Company (SE:4240) was up 2.55% or 0.73 points to 29.35 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Saudi Enaya Cooperative Insurance (SE:8311), which lost 9.97% or 1.36 points to trade at 12.28 in late trade. Mobile Telecommunications Company (SE:7030) declined 9.95% or 0.80 points to end at 7.24 and Rabigh Refining & Petrochemical Co (SE:2380) shed 9.87% or 2.82 points to 25.75.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 166 to 16 and 2 ended unchanged on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for June delivery was down 0.95% or 0.67 to $70.06 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in July fell 0.59% or 0.45 to hit $75.72 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract fell 0.30% or 3.90 to trade at $1310.20 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.51% to 4.4486, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.00% to 3.7502.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.43% at 93.01.
