Investing.com – Saudi Arabia equities were lower at the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Real Estate Development, Industrial Investment and Petrochemicals sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share declined 1.01%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Alawwal Bank (SE:1040), which rose 9.95% or 1.26 points to trade at 13.92 at the close. Saudi Company for Hardware (SE:4008) added 5.93% or 6.79 points to end at 121.20 and Saudi Cable Company (SE:2110) was up 5.32% or 0.43 points to 8.51 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Amana Cooperative Insurance Co (SE:8310), which lost 7.48% or 1.20 points to trade at 14.84 in late trade. Al-Jouf Agriculture Development Co (SE:6070) declined 5.85% or 1.59 points to end at 25.60 and Dar Alarkan Real Estate Development (SE:4300) shed 5.58% or 0.66 points to 11.16.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 157 to 23 and 2 ended unchanged on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for June delivery was down 0.67% or 0.48 to $70.83 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in July fell 0.82% or 0.64 to hit $77.79 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract fell 0.12% or 1.50 to trade at $1288.80 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.47% to 4.4184, while USD/SAR rose 0.04% to 3.7513.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.29% at 93.41.
