Investing.com – Saudi Arabia equities were lower at the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Real Estate Development, Financial Services and Retail sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share fell 0.71%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Eastern Province Cement Co. (SE:3080), which rose 4.35% or 1.25 points to trade at 30.00 at the close. Southern Province Cement Co. (SE:3050) added 3.48% or 1.70 points to end at 50.60 and Arabian Pipes Company (SE:2200) was up 2.15% or 0.21 points to 9.96 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Riyad Bank (SE:1010), which lost 3.53% or 0.95 points to trade at 26.00 in late trade. Knowledge Economic City (SE:4310) declined 3.12% or 0.31 points to end at 9.64 and Dar Alarkan Real Estate Development (SE:4300) shed 3.00% or 0.36 points to 11.64.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 120 to 56 and 12 ended unchanged on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for August delivery was down 0.61% or 0.33 to $53.78 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in August fell 0.68% or 0.42 to hit $61.72 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.17% or 2.35 to trade at $1348.35 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.20% to 4.2047, while USD/SAR rose 0.01% to 3.7502.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.19% at 96.972.
