Investing.com – Saudi Arabia equities were lower at the close on Thursday, as losses in the Agriculture & Food, Telecoms & IT and Financial Services sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share declined 0.46%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Middle East Paper Co (SE:1202), which rose 8.36% or 1.86 points to trade at 24.10 at the close. Saudi Pharmaceutical Appliances (SE:2070) added 5.01% or 1.55 points to end at 32.50 and Saudi RE Cooperative Reinsurance (SE:8200) was up 4.08% or 0.34 points to 8.68 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Allianz Saudi Fransi Cooperative Insurance Company (SE:8040), which lost 4.59% or 1.30 points to trade at 27.05 in late trade. The Saudi British Bank (SE:1060) declined 3.56% or 1.20 points to end at 32.50 and Salama Cooperative Insurance Co (SE:8050) shed 2.90% or 0.62 points to 20.78.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 90 to 77 and 15 ended unchanged on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for July delivery was up 0.85% or 0.55 to $65.28 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in August rose 1.01% or 0.76 to hit $76.12 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.28% or 3.60 to trade at $1305.00 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.53% to 4.4383, while USD/SAR rose 0.02% to 3.7502.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.33% at 93.30.
