Investing.com – Saudi Arabia equities were lower at the close on Sunday, as losses in the Energy & Utilities, Industrial Investment and Petrochemicals sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share declined 0.39%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Saudi Indian Company Insurance (SE:8110), which rose 9.95% or 1.90 points to trade at 21.00 at the close. Al-Jouf Agriculture Development Co (SE:6070) added 9.75% or 2.59 points to end at 29.15 and ACE ARABIA COOPERATIVE INSURANCE (SE:8240) was up 6.40% or 1.48 points to 24.60 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Tihama Advertising&Public Relations (SE:4070), which lost 4.81% or 2.36 points to trade at 46.75 in late trade. Etihad Atheeb Telecommunication (SE:7040) declined 3.10% or 0.230 points to end at 7.200 and Saudi Electricity Company (SE:5110) shed 2.93% or 0.63 points to 20.90.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 96 to 77 and 7 ended unchanged on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for February delivery was up 0.09% or 0.05 to $58.41 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in March unchanged 0.00% or 0.00 to hit $64.73 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 0.67% or 8.50 to trade at $1279.10 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.17% to 4.4473, while USD/SAR fell 0.06% to 3.7496.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.04% at 92.88.
