Investing.com – Saudi Arabia equities were lower at the close on Thursday, as losses in the Hotels & Tourism, Telecoms & IT and Media & Publishing sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share declined 0.14%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Saudi Cable Company (SE:2110), which rose 9.81% or 2.44 points to trade at 27.30 at the close. United Cooperative Assurance Co (SE:8190) added 5.57% or 0.66 points to end at 12.50 and United Electronics Company (SE:4003) was up 4.36% or 2.30 points to 55.10 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Alujain Corporation (SE:2170), which lost 2.84% or 0.85 points to trade at 29.10 in late trade. Samba Financial Group (SE:1090) declined 2.48% or 0.80 points to end at 31.45 and Saudi United Cooperative Insurance (SE:8060) shed 2.14% or 0.48 points to 21.96.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 91 to 63 and 27 ended unchanged on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for November delivery was down 0.86% or 0.66 to $75.75 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in December fell 0.53% or 0.46 to hit $85.83 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.30% or 3.60 to trade at $1206.50 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.37% to 4.3191, while USD/SAR rose 0.03% to 3.7508.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.26% at 95.42.
