Investing.com – Saudi Arabia equities were higher at the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Real Estate Development, Energy & Utilities and Media & Publishing sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share added 2.02%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Takween Advanced Industries (SE:1201), which rose 9.95% or 1.10 points to trade at 12.15 at the close. Saudi United Cooperative Insurance (SE:8060) added 9.85% or 1.30 points to end at 14.50 and United Wire Factories Company (SE:1301) was up 9.78% or 1.80 points to 20.20 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Fawaz Abdulaziz AlHokair Company (SE:4240), which lost 5.38% or 1.50 points to trade at 26.40 in late trade. Abdullah Al Othaim Markets Company (SE:4001) declined 2.74% or 2.00 points to end at 71.00 and Herfy Food Services Co (SE:6002) shed 2.69% or 1.75 points to 63.25.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 145 to 15 and 9 ended unchanged on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for November delivery was down 0.14% or 0.07 to $48.74 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in December rose 0.04% or 0.02 to hit $50.91 a barrel, while the December Gold contract fell 1.45% or 19.05 to trade at $1293.65 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.05% to 4.2078, while USD/SAR rose 0.02% to 3.7518.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.54% at 96.17.
