Investing.com – Saudi Arabia equities were higher at the close on Monday, as gains in the Petrochemicals, Financial Services and Insurance sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share added 1.72%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Alinma Tokio Marine Co (SE:8312), which rose 7.36% or 1.20 points to trade at 17.50 at the close. Saudi Industrial Export Co (SE:4140) added 7.00% or 2.40 points to end at 36.70 and BANK ALBILAD (SE:1140) was up 6.09% or 0.95 points to 16.55 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Hail Cement Company (SE:3001), which lost 3.25% or 0.40 points to trade at 11.90 in late trade. Saudi Cement Company (SE:3030) declined 2.19% or 1.25 points to end at 55.75 and Wataniya Insurance Company (SE:8300) shed 0.89% or 0.20 points to 22.35.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 148 to 10 and 11 ended unchanged on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for October delivery was up 2.70% or 1.19 to $45.34 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in November rose 1.73% or 0.81 to hit $47.64 a barrel, while the December Gold contract rose 0.09% or 1.25 to trade at $1329.35 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.07% to 4.1820, while USD/SAR fell 0.01% to 3.7504.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.10% at 95.77.
