Investing.com – Saudi Arabia equities were higher at the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Financial Services, Hotels & Tourism and Agriculture & Food sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share gained 1.48%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Amana Cooperative Insurance Co (SE:8310), which rose 9.93% or 0.70 points to trade at 7.75 at the close. Saudi Transport & Investment Co (SE:4110) added 8.75% or 3.70 points to end at 46.00 and Bank AlJazira (SE:1020) was up 6.54% or 0.70 points to 11.40 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Halwani Bros (SE:6001), which lost 3.33% or 1.75 points to trade at 50.75 in late trade. Saudi Company for Hardware (SE:4008) declined 1.95% or 1.25 points to end at 62.75 and Mouwasat Medical Services Company (SE:4002) shed 1.44% or 1.75 points to 119.50.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 114 to 43 and 12 ended unchanged on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for December delivery was down 0.63% or 0.32 to $50.20 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in December fell 0.74% or 0.38 to hit $51.08 a barrel, while the December Gold contract rose 0.38% or 4.85 to trade at $1268.55 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.18% to 4.0736, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.00% to 3.7508.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.34% at 98.98.
