Investing.com – Saudi Arabia equities were higher at the close on Sunday, as gains in the Transport, Telecoms & IT and Financial Services sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share rose 2.15%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Saudi Public Transport Co. (SE:4040), which rose 10.00% or 1.22 points to trade at 13.42 at the close. Allianz Saudi Fransi Cooperative Insurance Company (SE:8040) added 9.75% or 2.22 points to end at 25.00 and Middle East Specialized Cables Co (SE:2370) was up 6.20% or 0.62 points to 10.62 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Saudi Company for Hardware (SE:4008), which lost 1.44% or 0.90 points to trade at 61.60 in late trade. National Gas & Industrialization Co (SE:2080) declined 0.86% or 0.25 points to end at 28.85 and Saudi Arabian Mining Company (SE:1211) shed 0.42% or 0.20 points to 47.55.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 170 to 14 and 7 ended unchanged on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for July delivery was up 2.78% or 1.46 to $54.05 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in August rose 2.63% or 1.62 to hit $63.29 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.16% or 2.20 to trade at $1344.90 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.53% to 4.2503, while USD/SAR rose 0.01% to 3.7504.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.48% at 96.532.
