Investing.com – Saudi Arabia equities were higher at the close on Thursday, as gains in the Media & Publishing, Cement and Hotels & Tourism sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share rose 1.22%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Middle East Specialized Cables Co (SE:2370), which rose 9.89% or 0.90 points to trade at 10.00 at the close. Basic Chemical Industries Co (SE:1210) added 6.93% or 1.40 points to end at 21.60 and Leejam Sports Company SJSC (SE:1830) was up 5.32% or 3.60 points to 71.30 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Arabia Insurance Cooperative Co (SE:8160), which lost 1.75% or 0.28 points to trade at 15.76 in late trade. Red Sea Housing Services Company (SE:4230) declined 1.73% or 0.24 points to end at 13.64 and National Agriculture Marketing Co. (SE:4160) shed 1.36% or 0.26 points to 18.84.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 132 to 45 and 12 ended unchanged on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for July delivery was up 0.10% or 0.06 to $58.87 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in August fell 0.74% or 0.50 to hit $67.37 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 0.02% or 0.20 to trade at $1281.20 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.02% to 4.1726, while USD/SAR rose 0.00% to 3.7501.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.09% at 98.125.
