Investing.com – Saudi Arabia equities were higher at the close on Thursday, as gains in the Energy & Utilities, Financial Services and Retail sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share gained 1.00%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Riyad Bank (SE:1010), which rose 6.16% or 0.68 points to trade at 11.72 at the close. United Electronics Company (SE:4003) added 5.72% or 2.66 points to end at 49.20 and Saudi Kayan Petrochemical Company (SE:2350) was up 4.95% or 0.43 points to 9.12 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Malath Cooperative Insurance Co (SE:8020), which lost 6.85% or 1.14 points to trade at 15.50 in late trade. Anb Insurance (SE:8011) declined 2.51% or 0.45 points to end at 17.50 and Salama Cooperative Insurance Co (SE:8050) shed 2.44% or 0.65 points to 26.00.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 99 to 69 and 9 ended unchanged on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for November delivery was down 1.58% or 0.82 to $51.22 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in December fell 1.46% or 0.85 to hit $57.30 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.36% or 4.65 to trade at $1287.65 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.34% to 4.4364, while USD/SAR rose 0.01% to 3.7506.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.21% at 93.10.
