Investing.com – Saudi Arabia equities were higher at the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Agriculture & Food, Financial Services and Media & Publishing sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share rose 0.71% to hit a new 3-month high.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Saudi Enaya Cooperative Insurance (SE:8311), which rose 7.63% or 1.10 points to trade at 15.52 at the close. Banque Saudi Fransi (SE:1050) added 5.19% or 1.85 points to end at 37.50 and Tabuk Cement Co. (SE:3090) was up 4.82% or 0.54 points to 11.74 in late trade.
Biggest losers included The Mediterranean&Gulf Insurance Co (SE:8030), which lost 2.55% or 0.40 points to trade at 15.30 in late trade. National Medical Care Company (SE:4005) declined 2.24% or 1.05 points to end at 45.85 and BURUJ COOPERATIVE INSURANCE CO (SE:8270) shed 2.06% or 0.50 points to 23.80.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 97 to 82 and 11 ended unchanged on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for February delivery was down 1.04% or 0.54 to $51.57 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in March fell 0.68% or 0.41 to hit $60.23 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 0.07% or 0.95 to trade at $1289.35 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.20% to 4.2716, while USD/SAR rose 0.01% to 3.7510.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.06% at 95.735.
