Investing.com – Saudi Arabia equities were higher at the close on Thursday, as gains in the Cement, Telecoms & IT and Multi Investment sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share gained 0.69%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Amana Cooperative Insurance Co (SE:8310), which rose 3.75% or 1.07 points to trade at 29.60 at the close. National Industrialization Co (SE:2060) added 3.59% or 0.55 points to end at 15.88 and Fawaz Abdulaziz AlHokair Company (SE:4240) was up 2.83% or 1.19 points to 43.25 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Allied Cooperative Insurance Group (SE:8150), which lost 6.83% or 1.22 points to trade at 16.64 in late trade. The Mediterranean&Gulf Insurance Co (SE:8030) declined 3.72% or 1.28 points to end at 33.15 and Malath Cooperative Insurance Co (SE:8020) shed 3.57% or 0.73 points to 19.72.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 103 to 66 and 7 ended unchanged on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for November delivery was up 0.94% or 0.49 to $52.63 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in December rose 0.85% or 0.49 to hit $58.06 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.06% or 0.71 to trade at $1287.09 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.26% to 4.4172, while USD/SAR rose 0.01% to 3.7506.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.17% at 93.11.
