Investing.com – Saudi Arabia equities were higher at the close on Monday, as gains in the Retail, Financial Services and Media & Publishing sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share added 0.58%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Dar Alarkan Real Estate Development (SE:4300), which rose 3.83% or 0.37 points to trade at 10.02 at the close. Nama Chemicals Co. (SE:2210) added 3.39% or 0.95 points to end at 28.95 and Basic Chemical Industries Co (SE:1210) was up 2.62% or 0.58 points to 22.68 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Alujain Corporation (SE:2170), which lost 6.49% or 1.73 points to trade at 24.92 in late trade. Saudi Cable Company (SE:2110) declined 3.99% or 1.10 points to end at 26.50 and Saudi Paper Manufacturing Co. (SE:2300) shed 2.94% or 0.36 points to 11.90.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 86 to 84 and 15 ended unchanged on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for November delivery was down 1.09% or 0.81 to $73.53 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in December fell 1.12% or 0.94 to hit $83.22 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 1.22% or 14.70 to trade at $1190.90 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.52% to 4.2991, while USD/SAR fell 0.05% to 3.7494.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.35% at 95.64.
