Investing.com – Saudi Arabia equities were higher at the close on Sunday, as gains in the Financial Services, Petrochemicals and Telecoms & IT sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share gained 0.35% to hit a new 3-year high.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were ACE ARABIA COOPERATIVE INSURANCE (SE:8240), which rose 10.00% or 1.80 points to trade at 19.80 at the close. Anb Insurance (SE:8011) added 5.17% or 1.08 points to end at 21.98 and Al Mashaar REIT (SE:4337) was up 4.02% or 0.29 points to 7.51 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Abdullah A. M. Al-Khodari Sons Co (SE:1330), which lost 7.54% or 0.45 points to trade at 5.52 in late trade. Arabian Pipes Company (SE:2200) declined 5.93% or 0.62 points to end at 9.84 and Al Sorayai Trading&Industrial Group (SE:1213) shed 5.82% or 0.76 points to 12.30.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 0 to 0 on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for May delivery was up 0.65% or 0.39 to $60.53 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in June rose 0.93% or 0.63 to hit $68.21 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract fell 0.24% or 3.15 to trade at $1295.35 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.16% to 4.2142, while USD/SAR rose 0.01% to 3.7504.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.13% at 96.722.
