Investing.com – Saudi Arabia equities were higher at the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Hotels & Tourism, Petrochemicals and Insurance sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share gained 0.34%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were ALAHLI TAKAFUL COMPANY (SE:8130), which rose 4.96% or 1.25 points to trade at 26.45 at the close. Saudi Transport & Investment Co (SE:4110) added 4.67% or 1.65 points to end at 36.95 and National Medical Care Company (SE:4005) was up 4.02% or 1.95 points to 50.50 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Alujain Corporation (SE:2170), which lost 5.52% or 1.75 points to trade at 29.95 in late trade. Al Alamiya Cooperative Insurance (SE:8280) declined 2.54% or 0.95 points to end at 36.50 and AXA Cooperative Insurance Company (SE:8250) shed 1.89% or 0.40 points to 20.80.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 101 to 66 and 18 ended unchanged on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for November delivery was down 0.12% or 0.09 to $75.14 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in December fell 0.08% or 0.07 to hit $84.73 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.02% or 0.20 to trade at $1207.20 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.10% to 4.3258, while USD/SAR rose 0.02% to 3.7506.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.11% at 95.23.
