Investing.com – Saudi Arabia equities were higher at the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Transport, Industrial Investment and Telecoms & IT sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share gained 0.31%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Aldrees Petroleum & Transport Svcs (SE:4200), which rose 5.63% or 2.05 points to trade at 38.45 at the close. Saudi Ceramic Co. (SE:2040) added 4.90% or 0.98 points to end at 20.96 and United Int Transportation Company (SE:4260) was up 4.41% or 1.50 points to 35.50 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Saudi Industrial Investment Group (SE:2250), which lost 3.43% or 0.80 points to trade at 22.50 in late trade. Qassim Agriculture Co. (SE:6020) declined 1.71% or 0.20 points to end at 11.48 and Anaam International Holding Group (SE:4061) shed 1.60% or 0.15 points to 9.20.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 106 to 71 and 14 ended unchanged on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for August delivery was up 0.03% or 0.02 to $57.68 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in September rose 0.19% or 0.12 to hit $64.23 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.37% or 5.15 to trade at $1394.85 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.01% to 4.2041, while USD/SAR rose 0.01% to 3.7504.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.09% at 97.072.
