Investing.com – Saudi Arabia equities were higher at the close on Monday, as gains in the Energy & Utilities, Insurance and Financial Services sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share gained 0.29%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were The Company for Coop. Insurance (SE:8010), which rose 4.35% or 4.00 points to trade at 96.00 at the close. ALABDULLATIF CO. (SE:2340) added 3.98% or 0.70 points to end at 18.30 and Fawaz Abdulaziz AlHokair Company (SE:4240) was up 3.40% or 1.65 points to 50.25 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Saudi Research and Marketing Group (SE:4210), which lost 2.22% or 1.00 points to trade at 44.00 in late trade. Abdullah Al Othaim Markets Company (SE:4001) declined 2.21% or 2.25 points to end at 99.50 and Solidarity Saudi Takaful Co (SE:8290) shed 2.02% or 0.20 points to 9.70.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 69 to 69 and 31 ended unchanged on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for July delivery was down 1.41% or 0.69 to $48.38 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in August fell 1.46% or 0.74 to hit $49.80 a barrel, while the August Gold contract rose 0.91% or 11.60 to trade at $1287.50 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.12% to 4.2152, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.00% to 3.7500.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.12% at 94.74.
