Investing.com – Saudi Arabia equities were higher at the close on Monday, as gains in the Retail, Transport and Telecoms & IT sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share rose 0.23%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Saudi Arabian Amiantit Co. (SE:2160), which rose 6.17% or 0.39 points to trade at 6.71 at the close. Yamamah Saudi Cement Co. (SE:3020) added 3.20% or 0.48 points to end at 15.48 and Fawaz Abdulaziz AlHokair Company (SE:4240) was up 2.82% or 0.68 points to 24.80 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Al-Rajhi Cooperative Insurance (SE:8230), which lost 7.82% or 5.80 points to trade at 68.40 in late trade. Food Products Co. (SE:2100) declined 5.17% or 0.86 points to end at 15.78 and Saudi Cable Company (SE:2110) shed 4.20% or 2.00 points to 45.60.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 103 to 74 and 11 ended unchanged on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for May delivery was down 0.29% or 0.17 to $58.87 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in June fell 0.40% or 0.27 to hit $66.48 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 0.47% or 6.20 to trade at $1324.90 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.06% to 4.2473, while USD/SAR rose 0.00% to 3.7502.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.20% at 95.955.
