Investing.com – Saudi Arabia equities were higher at the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Cement, Financial Services and Retail sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share rose 0.09%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Saudi Cable Company (SE:2110), which rose 8.44% or 2.55 points to trade at 32.75 at the close. Saudi Transport & Investment Co (SE:4110) added 5.14% or 1.60 points to end at 32.70 and Saudi Enaya Cooperative Insurance (SE:8311) was up 3.61% or 0.38 points to 10.90 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Saudi Paper Manufacturing Co. (SE:2300), which lost 9.92% or 1.01 points to trade at 9.17 in late trade. Al Alamiya Cooperative Insurance (SE:8280) declined 9.61% or 2.44 points to end at 22.96 and Al Baha Investment and Development Company SJSC (SE:4130) shed 8.70% or 1.48 points to 15.54.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 145 to 38 and 8 ended unchanged on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for June delivery was up 1.02% or 0.62 to $61.66 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in July rose 1.05% or 0.74 to hit $70.97 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract fell 0.27% or 3.55 to trade at $1298.25 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.13% to 4.2032, while USD/SAR rose 0.01% to 3.7504.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.19% at 97.308.
