Investing.com – Saudi Arabia equities were higher at the close on Sunday, as gains in the Petrochemicals, Cement and Telecoms & IT sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share added 0.08%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Saudi vitrified clay pipes co. (SE:2360), which rose 6.70% or 3.29 points to trade at 52.40 at the close. Tihama Advertising&Public Relations (SE:4070) added 4.98% or 2.52 points to end at 53.10 and Saudi Transport & Investment Co (SE:4110) was up 4.51% or 1.85 points to 42.85 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Saudi Research and Marketing Group (SE:4210), which lost 6.00% or 6.70 points to trade at 105.00 in late trade. Saudi Industrial Services Co. (SE:2190) declined 5.20% or 0.79 points to end at 14.40 and The Company for Coop. Insurance (SE:8010) shed 4.99% or 3.60 points to 68.50.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 95 to 85 and 7 ended unchanged on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for June delivery was up 1.97% or 1.35 to $69.78 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in July rose 1.82% or 1.34 to hit $74.96 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 0.22% or 2.90 to trade at $1315.60 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.18% to 4.4867, while USD/SAR rose 0.03% to 3.7504.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.15% at 92.42.
