Samso Insight Episode 103 is on the current critical and essential minerals debate and what this means for investors, communities and Australia.

There are many narratives on what this drive for electrification means for investors. We can all agree that there are no doubts on the demand for critical and essential minerals, but how could this demand spur the next resource bull run?

In this episode of Samso Insights, we are talking to Lightning Minerals Ltd (ASX:L1M) and Taiton Resources Ltd (ASX:T88) about their respective IPOs which were live at the time of the recording.

This is a brief insight into the people who are running the companies and what is motivating them to be in this space. Alex Biggs and Noel Ong are experienced members of the mineral exploration sector having been in the same positions not long ago.

Alex was on the board of Critical Resources Limited (ASX CRR) before leaving to take over the helm of Lightning Minerals Limited (ASX: L1M). He shares with us the projects and the strategy of the company. In a time when critical metal stories are in demand, it is not a bad idea to keep an eye on what Alex is doing now.

The Taiton Resources story is one that is all about the search for Essential Minerals. The company is going to the IPO with the view that they have found a mineral province that has primarily been overlooked. The mineral province has had historical work showing some very important points, a shallow cover to basement, mineralisation within geophysical targets and CSIRO data indicating an area of hydrothermal activity that is consistent with mineral production.

Take time to watch this episode which showcases two companies that are in the Critical and Essential mineral space and a thorough discussion of why this industry is value adding to the community and Australia.
