Investing.com – Israel equities were lower at the close on Monday, as losses in the Real Estate, Oil & Gas and Insurance sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 declined 0.03%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the TA 35 were Frutarom Industries Ltd (TA:FRUT), which rose 3.24% or 750 points to trade at 23870 at the close. Strauss Group (TA:STRS) added 2.27% or 149 points to end at 6701 and Partner (TA:PTNR) was up 1.57% or 30 points to 1946 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Perrigo (TA:PRGO), which lost 3.69% or 950 points to trade at 24800 in late trade. Isramco Negev 2 LP (TA:ISRAp) declined 1.78% or 1.3 points to end at 71.8 and Delek Group (TA:DLEKG) shed 1.58% or 1360 points to 84610.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 243 to 170 and 88 ended unchanged on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for July delivery was down 1.20% or 0.57 to $47.09 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in August fell 1.28% or 0.64 to hit $49.31 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.27% or 3.52 to trade at $1283.72 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was down 0.04% to 3.5451, while EUR/ILS fell 0.31% to 3.9892.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.18% at 96.78.
