Resource Mining Corporation Ltd (ASX:RMI) has kicked off its inaugural drilling campaign at the highly prospective Mpanda Copper-Gold Project in Tanzania with an exploration reverse circulation (RC) program of 12-14 holes.

RMC has mobilised an RC drill rig to the project area and has started drilling at the Mpanda Ndogo Prospect.

The drilling of holes to depths of 70-100 metres is expected to be completed within 2-3 weeks with results from the program to be released by RMC as they become available.

This program will test numerous high-grade targets defined by soil, auger, trench, geological mapping, channel and rock sampling.

About RMC

RMC is exploring for critical minerals, namely copper and nickel in Tanzania and lithium in Finland.

In Tanzania, the company has two projects exploring for copper-gold and six projects focused on nickel occurrences in sulphides within known and prolific mafic and ultramafic intrusions.

The company's board has strong ties to Tanzania and is chaired by Asimwe Kabunga, a Tanzanian-born Australian entrepreneur who was instrumental in establishing the Tanzania Community of Western Australia Inc. and served as its first president.
