Investing.com – Poland stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Banking, Construction and Basic Materials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Warsaw, the WIG30 lost 0.30% to hit a new all time low.
The best performers of the session on the WIG30 were Grupa Azoty SA (WA:ATTP), which rose 6.54% or 6.15 points to trade at 100.15 at the close. Meanwhile, Globe Trade Centre SA (WA:GTCP) added 3.30% or 0.22 points to end at 6.89 and Cyfrowy Polsat SA (WA:CPS) was up 2.16% or 0.55 points to 26.05 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Bank Handlowy w Warszawie SA (WA:BHW), which fell 8.12% or 6.35 points to trade at 71.82 at the close. Lubelski Wegiel Bogdanka SA (WA:LWBP) declined 5.07% or 2.28 points to end at 42.72 and mBank SA (WA:MBK) was down 3.19% or 11.10 points to 336.90.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Warsaw Stock Exchange by 350 to 246 and 90 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for December delivery was down 1.02% or 0.45 to $43.84 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January fell 0.57% or 0.28 to hit $47.90 a barrel, while the December Gold contract rose 0.12% or 1.30 to trade at $1089.00 a troy ounce.
EUR/PLN was down 0.37% to 4.2545, while USD/PLN fell 0.57% to 3.9511.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.30% at 99.00.
