Investing.com – Poland equities were lower at the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Telecoms, Developers and Energy sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Warsaw, the WIG30 fell 0.10%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the WIG30 were Synthos SA (WA:SNS), which rose 1.88% or 0.090 points to trade at 4.870 at the close. Asseco Poland SA (WA:ACPP) added 1.46% or 0.70 points to end at 48.50 and Gornictwo Naftowe i Gazownictwo SA (WA:PGN) was up 1.17% or 0.08 points to 6.90 in late trade.
Biggest losers included mBank (WA:MBK), which lost 2.29% or 10.00 points to trade at 427.00 in late trade. CD Projekt SA (WA:CDR) declined 2.05% or 1.75 points to end at 83.80 and Globe Trade Centre SA (WA:GTCP) shed 2.00% or 0.20 points to 9.80.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 268 to 210 and 186 ended unchanged on the Warsaw Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for October delivery was up 3.32% or 1.57 to $48.86 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in November rose 2.20% or 1.15 to hit $53.49 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.91% or 12.15 to trade at $1342.55 a troy ounce.
EUR/PLN was down 0.04% to 4.2383, while USD/PLN fell 0.22% to 3.5562.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.35% at 92.25.
