Piedmont Lithium (NASDAQ:PLL) Inc (ASX:PLL, NASDAQ:PLL, XETRA:) has strengthened its senior management team with the appointment of veteran executives Nick Fouche as vice president of capital projects and Erin Sanders as vice president of corporate communications.
Both bring nearly 30 years of experience to their new roles.
Rio Tinto (ASX:RIO) veteran Fouche will be overseeing the development of project execution strategies for Piedmont’s global portfolio, delivering on objectives and supporting the company’s safety, environment, and health commitments.
Meanwhile, Sanders will be responsible for all corporate and executive communications, community relations, public relations, and social media strategies for Piedmont.
Fouche and Sanders are among a long list of new additions to Piedmont that will strengthen the senior management, technical and administrative teams.
In the past six months, the company has hired nine new employees, broadening its base of expertise in several key areas.
Global portfolio
Piedmont president Keith Phillips said, “The additions mark an important period of growth for the company.

Fouche has a global background and has held a range of leadership positions for several organisations in addition to Rio Tinto PLC (LSE:RIO), including South32 Ltd (LSE:S32, ASX:S32, OTC:SHTLF, JSE:S32), Palabora Mining Company and Ero Copper Corp.
